Public Transport In Malta & Gozo

Public Transport In Malta & Gozo is fairly cheap and efficient, with most routes running a service every 15 to 20 minutes. All Buses in Malta depart and arrive at the City Gate Bus Terminus in Valletta, whilst in Gozo they depart and arrive from the Victoria Bus Terminus.

In Malta the buses are Yellow, with an Orange band running through the middle of the bus, whilst in Gozo the buses are Grey with a Red band running throughthe middle of the bus. All buses display the route number on the front and back of the bus.

In order to board a bus from bus stops around the Islands (other than the termini), one is to signal the bus driver to stop by raising one's hand.

Most toursits visiting Malta are fascinated by the Maltese buses, as most of them are fairly old and noisy, but alas they are pretty efficient.
